Candi Byrne

Candi produced her first show at age 8, corralling the neighborhood kids in front of a sheet on a clothesline to perform Beatles’ songs. Since then, she’s been a small business owner, government contractor, Girl Scout Cookie sales manager, balloon wrangler, costumed mascot, writer, marketer, and librarian—a stewpot of knowledge, skills, and abilities cooking up into a producer.

She joined Fog Line Films in August 2007, and produced Hallelujah, a 25-minute narrative short written, produced, and directed by Forrest Naylor, an award-winning playwright and writer, producer, and director of Calla Lily and Favorite Color Pink.

In April 2008, she launched Celtic Knot Productions, whose first project, Heart Felt: Women Passionate About Poker, is currently in production. Heart Felt highlights women who play tournament-level poker. It’s no coincidence her daughter is a tournament-level poker player.

Al Rosen

Al spent the first half of his life on the East Coast, where he quietly nurtured his love of black and white photography and images of California and master photographer Ansel Adams. A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering kept the family happy and supported his habit.

Arriving in California, he discovered big cameras and the large landscapes of his former dreams. Later, his technical background provided entrée through the disciplines of sound and lighting into live theater, concert events, and radio.

When the digital world replaced the knobs and dials of yesteryear, and offered such marvels as digital video and editing, the world changed once again, and public access television became the focus of interest. That interest morphed into the arena of moviemaking when Al joined Fog Line Films in the making of “Hallelujah,” a film by independent filmmaker Forrest Naylor in 2008.

Recently, Al joined Celtic Knot Productions and is at work on its initial project, Heart Felt, which features women who play tournament-level poker.
